APOPHENIA

The sponaneous finding of connections or meaning in things which are random, unconnected or meaningless.

Aphophenia is a composition created from the sound archives (1980 - 2012) related to Cancelli, the Parco per l'Arte and Manufattu in Situ. Aphophenia is designed to be installed in the crypt of the Cancelli's church. An antenna placed on the bell tower transmits, in a radio free frequency, Aphophenia loop.
